Hi!  I'm Dr. Michael Thomas.  I was born and raised here in Anchorage, completing my undergraduate studies at University of Alaska Anchorage (2009), then dental school at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry (2015). Later, I continued my dental education with a secondary masters degree (2020). 

 

My experiences in dentistry have spanned from the East coast to an American Indian Reservation in the Upper Midwest and tribal health in the Northwest Arctic of Alaska.  I recognize that dentistry means different things to different people - from self-conscious or unpleasant experiences all the way to health and a beautiful smile. 

 

With each patient, I seek to understand where they are and their goals, then develop a plan for their unique circumstances and desires. In all treatment, I seek to ensure the same quality, gentleness and care that a family member or I would want to receive. With each dental visit, the goal is that you feel safe, understood, and on your way toward better health!
